Omer Javeed Qazi widely known as Omar Kazi or John Omar Kazi is a Pakistani/ international model film, television and theatre actor with French Mongolian ancestry. He was born and raised in the city of Lahore Pakistan. His father is a doctor and his mother belongs to academic services. Omar Kazi has a unique multicoloured eye which makes him stand out worldwide incomparable to any other model or actor.

Omar Kazi executed a great amount of versatility and naturalism in acting performances. He is not only acknowledged in South Asia but also by the great Oscar winners and legendary Al Pacino and Martin Landau (late). Furthermore, was invited to Hollwood’s Actors Studio and had been offered life membership at the prestigious club of actors, also known as the Makkah of actors.

Omar’s early kindergarten was from London and American School from Lahore. Later he joined the prestigious British boarding school Aitchison College. Omar started to go to the gym at age 12 to reduce his childhood fat. He then started taking a keen interest in weight training and dance. Moreover, he started performing with Bollywood music but later got interested in different dance styles.

He also started learning martial arts. Omar Kazi also gained interest in outdoor fitness activities such as swimming and riding. He was introduced to modelling and did it as a hobby. Not knowing very soon it would become his prime career and find himself among the best Pakistani actors. The Pakistani actor, Omar first got introduced in acting by PTV, as he played the leading role of Arif in a drama series called Grift (unreleased) which was written by the famous writer Tariq Ismail Sagar, and (adaptation of the Novel Dehshatgard). Sagar, who has worked with the most famous actors in Pakistan, convinced Omar and his parents that he should play this character.

Omar has always been a top choice among all Pakistani actors for leading roles by PTV directors Haider Imam Rizvi, Kazım Pasha, Ali Rizvi, Atta-ul-Allah Baloch, Ghazanfari Ali and writer Anwar Maqsood. Anwar Maqsood along with Director Dawar Mehmood cast Omar Kazi as the only choice to play the founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah in the last instalment of the Saadhay 14 series called Saadhay 14 August.

Omar gathered acknowledgement among recognized Pakistani male drama actors after performing the character of Maulana Rumi in the play ( Meraqsam ) by PNCA, shown to packed houses with an overwhelming response. This theatre play made a record business in the history of Pakistan and made waves in Pakistani showbiz news. To the acknowledgement of his contribution to arts and cinema, he was offered life membership at the Actors Studio. 

Omar was cast by Ghazanfar Ali to star in the highest-budget drama series Chanar Ghati. He starred in the movie Kon Hai directed and produced by Qasim Noor, the brother of the director Syed Noor. Omar played a recurring role in a multi-star cast drama series Ae Mohabbat and its success made it to Pakistani celebrity news. He is currently working on a series Fateh Hindustan with a similar pattern to the Turkish series Ertugrul Ghazi Aka Dirilis Ertugrul, which is jointly produced by the Middle East and Pakistan.
