John Omar Kazi started Modeling when he was in grade 9. Due to his European looks, he mostly got chosen to do foreign catalogues. The Pakistani actor did many commercials for Bonanza, Care Honey Lotion, Bio Cologne hair colour, Super Crisp, Hangten, Shahi Deluxe Supari, Al-Fatah Stores, Bank Alfalah, Mobilink Jazz and many more. Moreover, He also did fashion shoots with photographer Ather Shahzad, Afzal, Raza Jafri, Designer Ameer Adnan, Rana Noman and many others. John Omar Kazi starred in more than 25 music videos belonging to leading singers such as Strings, Meekal Hassan Band and others​.

Omar Kazi, a renowned Pakistani actor, first gained widespread recognition with his debut drama Kabhi Tum Judaa Na Hona, directed by Fahim Burni. Although he initially appeared in dramas like Grift, Bahar Anay Tak, and Mujaza through nationwide auditions, it was this role that put him on the map among Pakistani drama actors. His major breakthrough came with the blockbuster drama series Mitti ki Moorat, directed by Ata Ullah Baloch, which solidified his place among the famous actors of Pakistan. Following this success, he starred in Jahan Basein Dildar, another hit directed by Ali Rizvi.

Kazi’s impressive portfolio includes standout performances in popular dramas like Dulhan, Earthquake, Khed Muqadran Di, Shrine, and Kanton Se Agay. The role of Majoo in the epic drama Shrine, offered to him by producer and director Seema Tahir Khan, marked another milestone in his career. This drama became a fan favorite both in Pakistan and abroad, showcasing his versatility as an actor. He was casted for the role of Ramzan by producer Seema Tahir khan and director Qaiser khan Nizamani for their serial Kaanton Se Aagey.

 Arjumand Rahim casted him for the part of Gul Kahan Hai Manzil directed by Adeel. He worked for producer Sajjad Gul and Mahnoor Baloch in Jaane Kyun. Additionally, He also appeared in shows like Maala and Baitiaan as a guest star. Kazim Pasha casted him for the play Earthquake, Haider Imam Rizvi casted him for Baapkamaal, Izhaar ul Haq casted him for Tapti Chaoon, Qasim Jalali casted him in Gunahgar, Owais Khan casted him for Karachi Law, Hisham Syed casted him Pyaas and Romeo Juliet, Musharraf Jaffri casted him for the play Chandni, Ahmad Ali casted him for Baitiaan.

Over the years, Omar Kazi has worked with some of the most respected directors in the Pakistani drama industry. After being selective Omar accepted the role of Saleem in Sehraa Aur Samander directed by Ali Rizvi and produced by PTV. Again casted by director Haider Imam Rizvi in Jab Naam Pukaray Jaenge produced by Aaj Television. John Omar Kazi also appeared as a romantic hero Adil in the drama series Shaista Shaista produced by Adeel Faran written by Mohammad Ahmed and directed by Farrukh Faiz(late).

He later performed in the Pakistani Drama Chanar Ghati for producer Ghazanfar Ali. Omar appeared in the role of Mustafa in the drama series Ae Mohabbat. His success rate has been 90 % that means 90% per cent his dramas have either been the highest grocers business-wise, or have won a single or more awards for there respective channel awards as best dramas of the year.

Omar was casted by director Syed Noor in the movie Sapney Apne Apne and Dakait, which was a great hit at the box office. Director Sangeeta casted him for the movie Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan, and writer and Director Nasir Adeeb casted him for Sooraj Barsay Phool.

A very important film in Omar’s career was LAAJ Directed by Rauf Khalid (late), his role opposite Talat Hussain was greatly admired by the fans. Following the success of Laaj, Omar became more selective, opting for lead roles that showcased his versatility as one of the famous actors of Pakistan.

After LAAJ Omar became selective and started doing leading roles in films. Due to which director Sinkandar casted him in the film Tum Sa Kahan. His recent hit movie Kon Hai was directed by Qasim Noor (brother of Syed Noor).

Pakistani actor Omar Kazi has made a significant impact both internationally and within Pakistan’s thriving theater scene. The Darkside Of The Moon, Vampire The Masequarade, and Behind The Story Book Curtain with the next Stage Company. 

He has also appeared in international TV shows like The Creepy Guy and Undateables, and films such as American Werewolf in Tokyo and Enough. Despite his international success, Omar continues to be a major force in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, further solidifying his status as a leading Pakistani drama actor.

He gained widespread acclaim in Pakistan by playing the lead role of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Anwar Maqsood’s theater production Saadhay 14 August, which became a monumental success with over 200 shows and grossing around 20 crores a record in the history of Pakistani theater. 

This role catapulted Omar to new heights of popularity, establishing him as one of the most famous actors in Pakistan.

Omar not only remained the most successful actor in films and television but also in theater. Omar Kazi is in the process of accepting more International offers, One of which is on the history of the subcontinent Salam and many others are upcoming.
